Printing Issue With Multiple Copies

I'm using a Brother HL2250D network monochrome laser printe, single prints are fine and the printer installs easily with successive versions of Ubuntu. However, today I needed to print 10 copies of a one page document from Libre Office. Printing went fine but I'm left with Document Print Status indicating jobs processing and others pending. Attempting to cancel these 'jobs' does not work. The last time I needed to do this it would have been with 17.04 where I did not see this problem. just wonder if anyone has any ideas before I raise a bug.

You can try to sent only one print job for multiple copies to the printer.
Uncheck "Create single print jobs for collated output" in the Libreoffice print dialog.

Thanks! That cures it although there is no longer a print icon in the notification area.
