Problem with BTooth Headphones

I have Mate 24.04, one year ago I bought a new Headset, BT. I paired it with my BT dongle connected to usb and it always has worked fine.
Two weeks ago I used for the first time my headphone with my cell android for a short time.
From that moment it is very hard to connect the headphone to the BT dongle on the pc. The BT dongle is working fine with others devices paired, but the headphone. If I cancel the HPhone from the paired devices, it pairs fine again and connect. But when I restart the pc it doesn't connect any more. I have to desconnect and connect the dongle 2 or 3 times and attempt to connect the headphopne various times to obtain the connection.
What I can do restore a normal functionality?

For some BT devices I've added the below to /etc/bluetooth/main.conf. Make a backup of course first.

You also sometimes need to completely forget the device and re-pair.

I'm not a BT pro, I've had issues with a 360 controller and my Sony headphones and this seemed to have worked if I recall correctly. This was some time ago.

Ah, the joys of Bluetooth. One of the most unpredictable of technologies still in existence. We got rid of TWAIN, PCMCIA, RS-232 and other "tempermental" concepts, but somehow Bluetooth remains.

I find the quickest and easiest (?) solution to Bluetooth oddities is to simply forget the device and re-pair. That seems to work. Until next time.

Thank you Jhon and thank you OldStrummer,
Yes, I have forgot en deleted the device and re-paired it 2 or 3 times, with no results.
I never deleted all the devices.
I'll try to modify the main.conf file as in the Jhon post. I'll say you how it goes.

Well, I modified the /etc/bluetooth/main.conf and now I can connect the device with 1 click in tehe BT devices window, but it doesn't connect automatically and nor desconnect. I have to descnnect form BT device window. Very strange.

Maybe this parameter JustWorksRepairing = confirm is the guilty?

Ok, restoring that parameter to "never" I obtained to desconnect it autmatically by switching off the HPhone. But I still have to connect it maually.
Anyway, is better than before.
Maybe, some days, I'll find a fix to connect it automatically.

Have you marked the device as trusted or removing the parameter itself

Yes, I marked it as trusted. I also tried to remove it and re-pair.
