Problem with wifi in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Hi, in Ubuntu 16.04, the wifi is always on when starting the PC. Although it off network connections. I do not need wifi, how I can disable wifi when you boot your PC ?. My wifi is Centrino Wireless-N 2230.
Thank you very much.

Hi,

right click the network icon in the top panel and then on Enable/Disable WiFi.

Hi, yes, but restarting the computer, the wifi is back on. You can turn on the network connection but turns on again only when the computer is restarted.
I want to turn it off and stay off even turn on the computer.
Thank you very much.

Control Center > Startup Applications > Untick Network

Hi Justin,

he only wants to disable WiFi not the entire network or am I misunderstanding something?.

Hi @Angel,
