Problems with binfmt-support

I have Swift3 installed and running and wanted to try Vapor (server side swift), however install fails due to binfmt-support not installing -error is “update-binfmts: warning: Couldn’t load the binfmt_misc module”, then hangs.

I’m running 16.04.1 LTS

Does anyone know why this is?
Has anyone got vapor installed and running ?

try manually getting the package from here and install it using Gdebi!:

https://pkgs.org/download/binfmt-support

Thanks @wolfman, but the ARM architecture is not available there (forgot to mention this is on Raspberry Pi),
