I've been trying my raspberry pi out with the Auvidea B101 HDMI to CSI-2 bridge ( B101 HDMI to CSI-2 bridge (rev 4 with I2S audio) – Auvidea ) using the Ubuntu Mate Distro. I have updated and upgraded it before going into the Raspi-Config to activate the camera but it doesn't seem to be too much of an option (I recall they left some legacy edition and don't plan to work on this feature again (take what I said there with a pinch of salt (will go in and check again later))).
I was just wondering if it's possible to get any HDMI to CSI-2 Bridge or even any pi camera to work within this distro on the Pi through any other means, or would this be out of the question?
Any support and advice would be grateful; please don't hesitate to ask me for more info if it helps
