Remove some icons from Indicator Applet Complete

In regards to the Indicator Applet Complete, can I remove some of icons?

I only need the network icon.

There's no real configuration for it, i.e. you can't turn pieces of it on or off at will, unlike Windows. The only thing you can do is stop the pieces that feed it from running at all, which you do via Control Center -> Startup Applications.

No, you can't. But you can remove app indicator complete altogether and add back what you want a la carte. That's what I do.

I want an icon showing my internet connectivity.

But I don't see any item that would work.

Maybe not tried possibility

Thanks mendy for the recommendation

Yes, I was just about to suggest the same thing. Then put nm-applet in autostart, and you're good to go. If you run nm-applet (you can run it from the command line) and don't see anything on the panel, you may need to add 'notification area' to the panel. But it might already be there.
