Replace Caja with Thunar?

I prefer Thunar over Caja.

When I un-installed it, then Trash stopped working.

Can Trash be configured to use Thunar or is it not possible because Caja is built in ?

Caja is more than just a file manager, so for the best system integration I would stick with it. If you still feel adventurous and manage to figure out a way to (completely) replace Caja with Thunar, do share the solution.
