I shutdown the pi2.
I left it off for a few days.
I turned it on and the resolution is completely messed up.
The resolution settings are still shown as what I had them before(1080p).
Once before I had a problem with mate-panel and I deleted some file, maybe dconf or something???, and it fixed the problem…
I’m thinking this is a similar issue but I can’t remember what file I deleted…Any ideas ???

It was the .config/dconf/user file that I deleted before…It didn’t work this time…
Set it to 720 instead of 1080!. 
But it was working before ??? The config.txt file looks the same as it did before…
It may be related to what is actually being played back and that is why I suggested to set it to 720, if you are playing something that is (was) made in 720 but are trying to play it back in 1080 mode, it won’t do it and all you will get is garbage on the screen, if you are playing something that was made in 1080, playing it back at 720 will still (should) show you something on the screen!.
