Rotate touchscreen on Ubuntu Mate

Dear,

is it possible to rotate my touchscreen (the official 7 inch) in Ubuntu Mate 15.10? I’m using a Raspberry Pi 2B.

In the GUI, the rotate-option is unavailable…

I already tried to add lcd_rotate=2 in the config.txt, xrander-commands, …

Is there a solution for my problem?

Thanks for your reply!

Bjorn

Hi Bjorn,

does this help?:

Hallo Wolfman,

thanks for your reply!

I’ve already tried this possibilities, display_rotate=2 and display_rotate=0x10000. The GPU mem is by default 128 RAM but the screen won’t turn. I will give it another try with an clean image tomorrow, I tried already so much things…

The problem is that I use a stand for the screen, otherwise I could easly turn the screen :wink:

Thanks Wolfman,

It works! I think I had already changed to much in the config.txt…

With a new image and the following settings, it works:
display_rotate=2
gpu_mem=128

Thanks!

Bjorn
