RT_Preempt on Raspberry 3 Model B Ubuntu Mate

Hey there,

I hope to find help in this forum. Actually I have a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B with Ubuntu Mate. I want to set up a real time system on this rpi. So I need to install a new kernel with the rt_preempt patch. But so far i run in problems like stucking in rainbow screen. So my questions are:

  • Is anyone there who managed this ?
  • Can anyone give me an explanation on how to do that please?

It would be really great if somebody can help me.
