Samba Creates "System program problem"

When viewing all the other "System program problem" tweaks, it doesn't explain what causes it.

I drilled into the /var/crash and 1 file called "samba.0.crash" has 2065 lines. The first

ProblemType: Package
Architecture: amd64
Date: Thu Jan 23 13:28:42 2020
Package: samba 2:4.7.6+dfsg~ubuntu-0ubuntu2.15
SourcePackage: samba
ErrorMessage:
installed samba package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1
DpkgTerminalLog:

It appears it may have been a install error as the next few lines read:

...

Preparing to unpack .../libnss3_2%3a3.35-2ubuntu2.7_amd64.deb ...
Unpacking libnss3:amd64 (2:3.35-2ubuntu2.7) over (2:3.35-2ubuntu2.6) ...

Processing triggers for libc-bin (2.27-3ubuntu1) ...

This "System program problem" error shows up at each boot - I click Report but the topics under tell us to delete the file, but will it fix the Samba error? The popup error just started about 2 weeks ago. I don't turn on this system very often.

TIA

A file hanging in /var/crash can be the only source of 'System program problem' message by itself long after the original problem source is gone.
By clearing /var/crash you just get rid of false positives and have a chance to get actual status of your system.
