Okay, I’m running 16.10 right now and a prospective employer wants me to run Win 10. I’m thinking of running the Win OS in a virtual machine. However, employer wants to install an app that takes screenshots every 3 minutes to make sure I’m working.
My question is… will the screenshot app capture the Windows screen only or will it capture my Linux screen also?
The screenshot tool will only capture the Windows desktop since it is emulated and the Virtual Machine is isolated so it can’t reach outside of it , plus the screenshot tool does not understand X11 display protocol . So your host machine will be perfectly safe from the screenshots .
Well we have 24 hours a day . 1 hour = 60 min . 24 hours * 60 min = 1440 min . Interval is 3 . 1440 min / 3 = 480 screens . Lets say a jpeg screenshot is about 1.22 mb of data . So 480 * 1.22 = 585,6 mb of photos . Correct me if I am wrong ( Not good at mathematics ) .
