Many folks have probably moved on and no longer use Apple’s Quicktime for playing videos. That’s a good thing since Apple no longer supports Quick Time.

FYI - Apple’s software updater correctly identified that I didn’t have QuickTime for windows installed and offered to install version 7.6.9.0 which is that latest version
According to US-Cert the product is no longer supported by Apple
