SHA256 for 16.04.3 64bit image

Hello everyone,

this is my first post on this board so I hope my issue is categorized properly.

Yesterday I downloaded the freshly available ubuntu-mate-16.04.3-desktop-amd64.iso via http download.
The sha256 checksum to verify the download results in a completely different result than the one given on the homepage. Digging out an older 64bit 16.04.2 iso, I tried again and voilá, thats the checksum given on the website

sha256sum ubuntu-mate-16.04.2-desktop-amd64.iso 
39cb4d4069dd79a9104b8c1c5d0d4a5b009779eec55fafeceafcf43c7ebcaba4  ubuntu-mate-16.04.2-desktop-amd64.iso

I have tried during the past 14 hours to get hold on someone from the team that is responsible for the website via IRC, but so far, I have had no success.

Maybe here is someone that can inform the webmaster that there is a discrepancy between iso and given checksum and maybe has the correct checksum for me or can post what they have got.

My result is

sha256sum ubuntu-mate-16.04.3-desktop-amd64.iso 1eaec1c3376b94b7cc4ba8d0c41e447bd6dec6695cdc66621aba0eb22034d75a ubuntu-mate-16.04.3-desktop-amd64.iso

I can confirm your findings…and it seems that the SHA256 Checksum on our website is wrong.
Your result seems to be the right one.
I went to the http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-mate/releases/16.04.3/release/ site were
you can check the http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-mate/releases/16.04.3/release/SHA256SUMS.
Hopefully someone can correct this.
