Shotwell publish and email help wanted

G'day new user to U-Mate and have two issues with Shotwell.
1: Is there a way to get Shotwell to use Thunderbird for email sharing instead of looking for Nautilus?

And this is what I get when I click on 'Publish'

Shotwell seems like a good simple photo manager but if there's recommendations for something better pls let me know? TIA

I can reproduce this in Ubuntu MATE 16.04.1 using MATE 1.12.1.
Maybe you can file a bug report on launchpad?

I'm not sure if this should be filed against Ubuntu MATE or against Shotwell. I'd say rather the later.
