The ubuntu text should have been white for better contrast,

Yeah I was thinking the same, I need to get a bit more handy with GIMP/Photoshop, I was actually considering getting a Wacom Bamboo drawing tablet in the future to make it even easier to edit things.
Well I would recommend removing the lower text and using the font tool for editing, use the ubuntu font for that, change color to white and whoa bro you did it
