Hello, dear friends.
I would like to start off by saying that I am not a novice UBUNTU user but I am not an expert either. I have been using LINUX for quite some time, always DEBIAN-based distributions, in fact, only two: UBUNTU and one Venezuelan distribution called CANAIMA.
The thing is that I was using CANAIMA for more than 4 years but now I am back to UBUNTU, this time, MATE. There was an application I used to use way before CANAIMA, called SLIDEWALL, which allowed me to put a live wall paper clock, available at www.vladsttudio.com; but such application seems to have been dropped by its developer or something since its last update was in 2016.
I installed the app via .deb file (got it here http://ppa.launchpad.net/fioan89/slidewall/ubuntu/pool/main/s/slidewall/) and it gets installed O.K but won’t load.
Do you know anything about this app or a working replacement or something?
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks.
