Small images popping up from task bar

Mate 1.24.1 on Debian 11
Is there any chance to get rid of this small images popping up from task bar when I put mouse pointer over tasks ?

Not sure, do you have Windows LIst in panel? If so there is a preference setting. When you hoover over item it will show help on minimized items and thumbnails of open items. This applies to Windows List, from picture not sure if yours is showing pop up on any launcher in panel.
