I noticed that Software Boutique is still installed after upgrading to 24.04 LTS but there is no software available. Is this intentional? Can I just uninstall it or will it eventually get populated? I found the main software updater and it seems to list all apps. Was that a replacement for the boutique? Too bad really, it was a great module to have use of.

I'm just guessing here, but maybe the developers were using some common sense and kept the basic Boutique engine in place as a CYA, in case the "powers that be" changed their minds about removing the very user-oriented Boutique.
I'm sure it would be far easier to just re-populate the Boutique, than to rebuild the entire "infrastucture" if it was completely ripped out.
