Software Boutique + PPA + Atom not up to date

Hello,
How do I get a PPA via the Software Boutique to pull in the newest Atom editor?

I am running 17.04 with all updates installed (apt get, apt update). The installed Atom is 1.16, the stable version at atom.io is 1.18. The PPA version that is used by Boutique is 1.18 ( https://launchpad.net/~webupd8team/+archive/ubuntu/atom ) .

I have reinstalled Atom form Boutique and still have 1.16. What steps do I need to take to get Boutique to pull in the latest Atom? I would prefer not to use the .deb from atom.io becuse it will not auto update.

Ask the PPA maintainer to update Atom and also to include support for Artful if it isn’t already available :grinning:
