Same here, run Welcome from the terminal and Boutique crashes it listing a bunch of errors. At least I get to find out what segmentation fault means…

Yes. Software Boutique is a critical component of Ubuntu MATE.
You can expect this issue to be solved before Artful reaches Beta 1.

Seems to be a regression in the WebKitGTK library,. I’ve filed a bug report upstream.
A workaround has been applied for now so Welcome/Boutique will work in the next update until the root problem is fixed.
