[SOLVED] How to exclude a folder from the system search in Mate

Hi everyone,

I have enjoyed using mate so far, but I have been having a problem. I am not sure if I am posting in the wrong area, or if this has been asked before ( I tried to search and could not find anything.) Does any on know how to exclude a file or folder (with subfolders) from the search in mate?
