[Solved] How to set a windows automatically raised immediately after opening

So usually when you open a text file, by double clicking from caja, pluma will pop up to the front and window is focused on pluma. In this case, everytime I open a video file, smplayer or VLC will open, but in the background so I have to click it on the task bar (window list in the bottom panel) to raise it and bring it to front. This doesn’t happen in vanilla ubuntu 14.04.

what can I do to change this behaviour? PS: I notice this problem happens with video files.

Problem solved!
Go to ccsm then General Options, in focus & raise behaviour tab, go and change the focus prevention level to off or low. that does it.
