[Solved] Menu opacity (transparency) question

Hello good People :slight_smile:

I am trying to get Applications; Places; and System drop-down menus to become semi-transparent. I know it should be possible using compiz (which I am running) by tweaking ‘opacity, brightness and saturation’ settings, but had no luck with it so far. Is there something I am missing ?

For the benefit of others the solution is setting the desired parameters in compiz:
(type=Menu) || (type=PopupMenu) || (type=DropDownMenu)
