[SOLVED]Ubuntu MATE-menu behavior

So, I’ve got an idea to change some behavior on MATE menu.

SO here is what I want to change:
When you click menu, if you selected favorites, it will stay in that position when you click again menu, but when you start to search something, it changes automatically to All aplications.
Can this be fixed?

Hi MATE,

right click "Applications > Edit Menus > New Item and create your own list of favs by adding them to the new item list:

Under "Type", you have 3 choices, call it what you will and add away to your hearts content:

@MATE2 There is an option in the MATE Menu preferences to always start in Favourites mode :slight_smile:

Thank you, that helped, and can it change back to favorites when I delete words from searching? Just asking :smiley:
