**SOLVED** Why does the terminal always want to install this? (see screenshot)

For a week or so, the Synaptic, and the terminal, have kept telling me to address this upgrade (even though I have updated daily via the update mgr, which never mentions this upgrade). I do not stray outside of the safety-zone of the Ubuntu Mate update-mgr for such needs - unless advised to. Please advise on this screenshot of my terminal.

Just out of interest, what Ubuntu MATE version?

Have you tried apt-get dist-upgrade?

Hello Wimpy, many thanks for getting back; it is a pleasure to meet you!

15.10 - WW; and yes I did run apt-get dist-upgrade - to check on a couple of goodies. However, I have only updated via the UM updater.

Also, my wife has Ubuntu Mate-15.10 on her PC; and is experiencing the same upgrade prompt in her terminal. To-do-or-not-to-do… :hear_no_evil: It is wonderful what you & yours have brought to us Wimpy; you guys already know how much we all appreciate you! UM is the best of the best for me.

Well, guiding forces out there: should this enduring prompt be acknowledged… or not? - libnautilus-extension1a python3-distupgrade ubuntu-release-upgrader-core ubuntu-release-upgrader-gtk

If you’re asking if you should do the upgrade, then Yes.
