Strange behavior with unread count

I had the below situation repeat a few times in the past day or so, and thought I should capture if and when it occurred - this time ~ 14:01 EDT

I have unread topics

Immediately click Unread

I’ve always known Discourse to do this, also because I tend to open multiple topics in many tabs.

I suppose it’s a bug with the software – it may have been reported by other Discourse forums and the developers upstream.
