I just moved from Linux mint xfce to Ubuntu mate and its just great linux os.It is fast,simple,light on resources and productive.But there are some things which i miss like the wallpaper changer on boot,media,brightness control on panel icon and the menu in xfce.Also the advanced menu is not resizable like xfce menu.
Also fedora,gnome,ubuntu mate panels layout are almost similar So instead of these three layouts one ubuntu mate layout is good enough and open suse layout is not like kde as search function is bad instead efforts should be made developing a good linux mint like layout in future versions polishing the redmond layout along with other two cupertino,ubuntu mate.Gnome software center is going to be there in next version i guess.
