I was playing around with synapse and it didn’t find all documents like expected. Some documents were missing.
So I installed the full zeitgeist package and it worked like it should. But it worked too well.
Some things like ‘funny videos’ shouldn’t be found when a customer is sitting next to me.
I installed the activity-log-manager to exclude folders.
That bundle of zeitgeist and the activity-log-manager is a great solution and gives synapse the full functionality.
I know on systems with weak hardware zeitgeist can be a problem.
But perhaps would be adding the bundle of activity-log-manager and zeitgeist to the Software Boutique as ‘Additional Synapse functionality’ an option.
