System Monitor launches fullscreen

When launching System Monitor it goes to fullscreen. How to make it to start at smaller screen size?

Brute force method is to reset all MATE System Monitor settings by

gsettings reset-recursively org.mate.system-monitor

The above command will affect only System Monitor window.
