I have also noticed this with Tilda sometimes. You need to right-click in the open Tilda terminal and choose preferences and then the “appearance” tab.Inside there, you can set up the width and height again. I recommend setting the width to 100% and the height to 40%.
It does this very seldomly, thankfully, and so you will hardly ever have to reset it in this way.
Alternatively, you could remove Tilda from the start-up list and install Guake instead. Which, is, in my opinion, superior to Tilda.
Also, if i remember correctly, there is an option inside tilda preferences that allows tilda to be started hidden. You will need to check that to ensure it starts minimised. It’s under the “general” tab.
The same thing happened to me, too. I “solved” the problem simply by unchecking Tilda in startup applications (part of what Stevecook172001 suggested.)
i have the some problem, and thanks i get the solution, i will unchekcing Tilda in startup, but this is will make system malfunction?
No, it will not make system malfunction. It will just mean tilda will not automatically start. However, if you have a problem with tilda being too small and to the top left of the screen, you do not have to remove it from the start-up menu. You just need to go into tilda preferences and change the size of the tilda terminal and also, if necessary, change the opening state of tilda to minimised. See my previous post for details.
