Thank you, I love this style and operating system. Mate you make it a stable and enjoyable engine. I think it's the best Linux out there and I have been using Linux for many years like in many years. Thank you to the people who feed this engine and keep it working. I am grateful. You keep making this stronger and more stable.

Are you having issues with the applets and the icons on top and such? For example, are you getting blue boundaries or whatever around icons on the panels?
I am not. It would help if you are having problems to know exactly which version of Ubuntu Mate you are running and what equipment you are running it on. Also what theme as some can cause problems. The more information the better.

Maybe you should make it as a separate topic since this way people might not even register your question and in turn we can't help you out since the main topic here was a thank you note so I suggest you to make a new topic in Support & Help Requests just so we all know there is an issue and that we can easily help you in the fastest way possible 
Also explain the problem or even better crop a printscreen picture so we know what the problem looks like if at all possible
It is probably already a seperate topic.
