The MAXIMUS package

For me, this package is broke out of the box.

It will not pull up from /usr/bin/maximus nor will it pull up from terminal. Terminal shows no errors, just nothing happens.

Anyone feel like trying the package and verify this?

maximus or mate-maximus? The latter is installed in my 16.04 VM. It doesn’t do anything when I run as a command, but it powers options in MATE Tweak: “Undecorate maximized windows” and “Do not auto-maximize new windows”.

That was it, you fixed it :smiley:

Killing the mate-maximus process allowed maximus to load up.

I wanted to see if it had other options, but it will not matter since I will not give up mate-maximus. So to the scrap heap with it :slight_smile:
