Hello -- I am trying to install Ubuntu MATE on an old Acer Aspire One netbook. The system makes good progress, except that it goes dark every minute or so and I have to push the power button to bring it back up. The machine ran perfectly well on Win XP before I started this attempt to install Ubuntu. Has anyone else seen this problem? Thanks!

Go to power settings and disable all sleep triggers maybe it will help
