Great news Martin. Glad to hear HiDPI support is coming - at the moment lack of HiDPI support means not being able to select the nicest panels in the latest equipment. I'm also glad the GTK3 issues won't be affecting me, given I use the straight application/places/system layout.
Got a question - all this fancy stuff they're doing in gnome 3 with buttons in the window dressing, and menus hear there and everywhere (well, coming from buttons, from the top of the screen and from menus) - how will that affect the way these programs display and function in MATE?
