I test and provide feedback and bug reports for the development edition of Ubuntu MATE> Yesterday after running sudo apt update
then sudo apt upgrade
the terminal froze at Starting snapd...
I tried to recover from that, but ended up in a Wonderland loop where no matter what it always froze at this point. Feel bad because I got mad and started a reinstall (VM) before gathering the data on the error if this even was an error. Terminal was on Starting snapd for a few hours before I decided to reinstall. I reported it anyway.
This is all part of the fun of testing and reporting that comes with the dev branch. So excuse me, I now have 1015 updates to install, LOL
