Ubuntu MATE and Lenovo V330 Desktop - Type 10TS: ethernet card not recognized

i have V330 Desktop (Lenovo) - Type 10TS

it is an old computer, I connected it to the TV and installed ubuntu mate. its not identify the ethernet card, how can i make it work

I think lspci command will let you see what chip it uses for Ethernet, and then you can search for drivers, download them, and install them.

But often with an old machine or one too new to have full support yet it is often easier to buy an inexpensive USB to Ethernet adapter and move on.

Old is relative, but if it is new enough to have USB3, this Ethernet with hub worked well for me on a new Lenovo that was WiFi only:
