Still not there, but hope that above and downward panel both have 24 px size in Contemporary Panel Layout. Is that coming, when all (above panel) icons are ok with that size?
Cleanest interface with Global Menu is Mutiny panel style. Also good activity info in vertical panel and efficient use of screen space. Most complete desktop design that really grows on you. Tested it on new users and they also like it - a winner!
But still my favourite panel layout is Traditionell with Brisk Menu. So clean and with great overview. Make it default!!!
