Bonjour, ubuntu est un peu plus lourd mais plus joli qu'ubuntu mate,5,7 GO contre 4,2 GO
Dire qu’Ubuntu est 'plus joli' que MATE dans un forum dédié à Ubuntu MATE, c’est un peu maladroit. Beaucoup ici choisissent justement MATE pour sa légèreté, sa sobriété et sa stabilité. La beauté, c’est subjectif — personnellement, je préfère une interface efficace à une interface tape-à-l’œil.

D'autant plus, je crois que je parle pour la majorité en disant qu'on préfère un Système Opérationnel dont l'image se limite à 4,5 GO, afin de pouvoir se limiter à un disque DVD, et non Blu-Ray.

Pourquoi vous dites qu'Ubuntu est plus joli qu'UM sur un forum pour la distribution UM?
Je suis d'accord avec @Alarik - j'ai choisi d'utiliser MATE et Ubuntu MATE pour la stabilité du système d'exploitation et l'environnement de bureau traditionnel. Je pense qu'il y a beaucoup d'autres membres de la communauté qui l'utilise pour les mêmes raisons.
Je n'aime pas du tout l'environnement de bureau GNOME et j'ai commencé à détester quelques applis GTK4 à cause du manque de personnalisation. J'ai fait une publication sur notre forum pour le discuter (en anglais).

Why are you saying Ubuntu is nicer than Ubuntu MATE on a forum for the UM distribution?
I agree with @Alarik - I chose to use MATE and Ubuntu MATE for the stability of the operating system and the traditional desktop environment. I think there are lots of other members of the community that use it for the same reasons.
I don't like at all the GNOME desktop environment and I've started to detest some of the GTK4 applications due to the lack of customisation. I made a post on our forum for discussing this (in English).
