I need some help. UM consistently does not see my Samsung Android phone.
Windows can see it at my local library.
I will do the work, I just need a starting point.
I have not posted this on another forum. Yet.
Thanks.

what do you mean by see my phone? It cannot connect on blue tooth? It cannot be accessed with a USB cord? (Do you have mtp-tools (Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) library tool) or gmtp (simple file transfer program for MTP based devices) installed on your computer?
I had a Samsung phone (A-14) and had nothing but trouble with it. The microphone/usb charger/ phone hard drive access port went out almost immediately so I could not access anything and no one could hear me. They replaced it with another phone that lasted a bit longer but again the microphone/ charger/usb port went out. They had me take it to a shop that repaired the second phone and it lasted about two weeks. I went back to a Motorola phone and have not had any problems since then.
