Hi guys !!!
I want to uninstall /remove software from the Ubuntu Mate OS,i am not using Tor browser because it doesn’t works anymore,dont know why … but dont know how to uninstall it;i have few Tor apps in the Applications - internet.
I did try to uninstall it via terminal but only see this :
andrews@andrews-Satellite-C645D:~$ sudo apt remove Tor
[sudo] password for andrews:

E: Unable to locate package Tor

Also,i did install Opera browser which is amazing with his vpn and privacy and security features,the only issue i have is that i cannot listen to any radio station via the main site or using tunein or similar pages …the javascript feature is enabled.
Suggestions ???

hi,
shouldn't think you need to format just to remove tor.
if for some reason you can't use the (ubuntu mate) software boutique.
you could try opening up a terminal by pressing Ctrl + Alt + T and try this command
sudo apt-get purge torbrowser-launcher tor
this should fully remove tor

I did try to uninstall Tor browser and Opera browser too trying to uninstall both removing them from the Ubuntu software boutique but without any success ...Opera is a nice and good OS but for some reason i cannot listen too any radio station via pop up window ...did ask why but without any reply back yet;even my question about the issue got a lot of likes on Opera facebook page but no answer back yet from Opera browser ...
So,what i did now without Tor browser working was install Anonymox vpn proxy and Canvas blocker so i have more privacy and security and it's similar to Tor browser 
Do you know how to uninstall too Opera browser please ???
