I've had issues with my ordinary laptop (ASUS) not waking up properly. It's rare, but it does happen. Never figured out why. I don't think this is the same issue, but it's not uncommon for there to be problems with waking back up, e.g. One Way to Fix Freezing Upon Resume from Suspend
