Unwanted Wifi Password Popups

My mom lives in a very large condo complex. There must be 20 available wifi networks when she is at her desk. She's either on wired ethernet or her own wifi. Occasionally, she takes the laptop to a public wifi hotspot, but she has no interest in all these neighbor's wifi.

One of them is persistently asking for authentication, at least one time per login to her account. Is there some way to blacklist some of these wifi networks?

This is Ubuntu Mate and it showed up when I upgraded her from 18.04 -> 20.04 -> 22.04.

I'm guessing you can click on the WiFi symbol in the upper panel and go to Edit Connections. If the network that's asking for a password is in the list of connections highlight it and remove it.

That would be the first thing to check in my experience.
