Just performed an upgrade from UbuntuMATE 16.04LTS to 17.04 using the updater. All seemed to go well until… Top panel presents
" Ubuntu-MATE64" followed by the “Day,date,time” in the center and The icons for “About MATE” , “Assistive Technologies” and “en-US” om the right.
My account name with a blinking cursor in the password box in the greeter. . Eventually the cursor stops blinking.
Looks like the upgrade almost worked but have no mouse or keyboard.
So… Is there anyway to fix this or Do I just do a fresh install?
All my data was backed up prior to the upgrade.
EDIT: It is my daily driver so I decided to do a complete reinstall.
