Upgrade from 17.04 has made my Samsung NC10 netbook unusable due to display corruption. I have reported a bug but beware this upgrade has the capacity to break your system.
Hi @riban,
run the following terminal commands (Ctrl + Alt + t) if you are having problems:
sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt --fix-broken install
RESTART AFTER SUCCESSFULLY RUNNING COMMANDS!. 
That didn’t improve things. Still completely corrupt and useable display
