Version of GTK used to build Ubuntu/UbuntuMATE 22.04 LTS

Can someone tell me if Ubuntu/UbuntuMATE is fully coded as GTK3+ (aka minimum version 3 with some 4) or GTK4+ (minimum GTK4 or later) ?

Mate mostly gtk 3.24
Gnome gtk4 while applications are using gtk3.
