I have the pendrive in question. What is missing from Ubuntu Mate to be able to use it as a mobile broadband modem instead of having to configure it as a network modem? On Debian Jessie a friend of mine works perfectly and is recruited without installing anything, we have sailed without problems. Help please.
HI Labbing,
all I can find is the following.
The pendrive works only with sk vodafone. Other operators the pendrive remains disconed. Unfortunately I have not found a way to solve this problem. Under Debian 8 there are no problems whatsoever, it is seen as a modem and is normally used as a broadband and relative connection. Tips?
I did some tests here are the results:
To run a command as administrator (user “root”), use "sudo ".
See “man sudo_root” for details.

If it is working with Debian and won’t work with Ubuntu Mate, ask @Wimpy for help (he should get an alert now).
Other than that I cannot say as I don’t have such a device and neither can I find anything on the web!.
I add the recognition log of the pendrive denro debian 8 jessie. I hope it can be useful to solve the problem.
Thank you…
