I am using both the old notification area and the indicators since there are some apps that I use that only use the old notification area. However, the volume icon appears twice. Is there any way to fix this? I am using 18.04 now.
Now the wifi icon appears twice as well.
Just performed a clean 18.04 install to get rid of the double volume icon and now I also see the wifi icon twice.
You can only remove everything from panel or have icons double… nobody else have this issue?
Is there a fix for this?

I have updated to 20.04. A few days ago.
See hereunder the right side of my panel. I get some icons doubled and bigger size. It appeared today suddenly.
Something can be done about it ?

Well... I did reboot 2 times since and the problem seems to have disappeared... Can't figure...
Will come back if it reappears.
