How is it possible to import/export a vpn configuration via network manager?i tried but it failed and displayed:
Unknown error.
@aseok first you have to install the following package:
sudo apt-get install network-manager-openvpn
Then you can try to import your vpn settings.
I need pptp vpn and as i know, openvpn doesn’t include pptp.
The other is that import/export option exists in ubuntu network manager but it doesn’t work.
@aseok I told you to install the openvpn package because in my case the import/export option didn’t work either in ubuntu or ubuntu mate. I believe that in your case probably you will need to install the plugin network-manager-pptp. Hope this will help
