I prefer something like:
And with some texture/ light-shadows/fading/lines... on the grey staffs similar like what Mate Desktop Artwork Backgrounds currently have.
And not the last high resolution if possible ... 4k
regarding previous example, the green should be the Ubuntu Mate green, take examples as I mention existing wallpapers that come with Mate,... this really have potential with some extra work.
